It still feels like yesterday when we were invited to the country’s biggest platform for entrepreneurs, TechSparks 2017 by YourStory. Ahh, such an edifying experience, plus the glam quotient added up by some of the finest celebs from B-town.
Since TechSparks, the RTIwala team has already been invited to a few of the prestigious events including online media giant VCCircle, Bitcoin Conference and now, ‘The Future of Business is Digital’ by YourStory and Cisco. It is a matter of immense pride that our 8-month old media venture, RTIwala, was hosted at a slew of prestigious CXO dinners and conferences across the country. But do you know what is even more exciting about our presence among the industry stalwarts? The fact that we haven’t hit on ‘Pay Now’ yet.
Well, that alone says a lot about the brand value RTIwala has already garnered in such a short span of coming into being.
The Future of Business is Digital
April 26, 2018 marked an invigorating evening in the short-yet-remarkable history of RTIwala. Our team was at one of the best venues in town, Imperial at St. Regis, Mumbai. It was about 7 p.m. that the guests were asked to settle as the keynote address by Jayachandran Vishak Raman, Director Security Business, Cisco India & SAARC. He stressed upon nominalization cybersecurity for online businesses and that the same is often ignored by most of the early-stage and growing startups.
“There’s a lack of cybersecurity in the digital era. The security solutions that exist today aren’t interoperable. They are expensive and there’s a serious talent crunch in the cybersecurity industry.”
-Jayachandran Vishak Raman
Following an astounding keynote address, the panelists for the evening joined in for an immensely gripping discussion on the Future of Business. From the future of Artificial Intelligence to the need for SME listing, many crucial aspects of the digital space were elucidated by the esteemed panel.
With MojoBar Founder, Maulik Mistry elaborating on the efficiency of online advertisements against billboards & other offline media, Signzy Co-founder, Arpit Ratan went on to stress upon the eternal need for human touchpoints over an increasing trend for chatbots helped us develop a variety of perspectives.
Chatbots interacting with consumers is a negative trend. All functions that require human emotion should remain offline.”
–Arpit Ratan, Co-Founder, Signzy
The panel discussion went on for a couple of hours, followed by a gala dinner. Understandably enough, this was the time when fellow entrepreneurs gelled up with each other in order to enhance business prospects and begin networking for a further association.
Must say, the hospitality offered by team YourStory, along with the staff at the venue, was an end-to-end remarkable affair, much like our earlier encounters with them.
